Code of Conduct

Our community is an inclusive, safe environment that welcomes everyone. Creating positive spaces for our community to flourish is our highest priority.

We expect cooperation from all participants to ensure a safe environment for everybody. Our events are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity and religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants (including attendees, speakers, organisers or staff) in any form in any venue, including talks, workshops, social events, online, or other channels of communication.

Any participant who violates these rules will be removed from the event without a refund. The organiser reserves the right to remove anyone who violates our code of conduct.

If you need help at any point during an event, please reach out directly and immediately to the event/conference chair, Josh Nesbitt. You can get in touch via email, and our Twitter DMs are always open. All information will be kept confidential unless we determine that disclosure with appropriate third parties is necessary (including but not limited to law enforcement). We will discuss your options with you before we take any step unless your security or other attendees are at risk.
