Agile ADHD - how Scrum (kind of) saved my husband's life
Scrum is a planning system used in many software companies to help teams work together. Unfortunately, no-one outside of tech has heard of it. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder which reduces impulse control and the ability to reach long-term goals. Unfortunately, no-one outside of psychiatry takes it seriously. Sally learned about ADHD the day she met her husband. She learned about Scrum the day she became a developer. And she realised that bringing Scrum and her husband together could be very interesting indeed.
