Designing systems that scale - the other developer
Jordan Appleson at Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen on 7th April, 2015.
Jordan focuses on understanding how to scale systems from a functional and logical point of view. Gone are the days when companies predominately build monolithic applications. In this talk he covers writing scalable systems at a code level, why languages like TypeScript and Scala are said to be "scalable languages" and why strongly typed languages help you to write API's (and we're not just talking about web API's).
