Mark Barrett

Mark Barrett is a Director at Data Flock - a Data Science company based in Leeds/Bradford. His main areas of interest are machine learning, predictive analytics, data visualisation, and storytelling with data.

With a background in health data, Mark was selected as one of the top 50 most innovative people in healthcare by the Health Service Journal. His previous work developing and supporting Leeds Data Mill, with Leeds City Council was also selected by The Observer as one of the top 50 New Radicals.

Mark previously worked for the NHS where he managed Open Data, and created a #1 iTunes app - "GP Ratings" which used 42 million pieces of patients feedback to help people find the best GP Surgery near them.
